Scorezy is a cricket match-scoring app. We designed it to collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what is stored and when.
Solo match scoring happens entirely on your device — the teams, scores and ball-by-ball events live in the app's local storage on your phone and are never sent to anyone. No account is required and no personal information is collected to score a match.
When you choose to make a match Live & Share, the match's scoring state (teams, scores, overs, ball-by-ball events) is stored in our cloud backend (Google Firebase) so that people you share the link with can follow it in real time.
Matches run on Score Passes — prepaid credits. New installs get a number of free passes, and matches spend passes (Solo costs fewer; Live & Share costs more for longer matches). To keep your pass balance secure and consistent — so it survives reinstalling the app — we store the balance in our cloud backend keyed to a device identifier (on Android, the system-provided app identifier / SSAID; on other platforms, a random identifier the app generates).
You can optionally watch a rewarded video ad to earn extra Score Passes. These ads are served by Google AdMob. To show ads, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process device and usage information (which can include advertising identifiers) in line with Google's policies. Watching ads is entirely optional — you can use the app and buy passes without ever watching one. Learn more in Google's privacy & terms.
You can buy Score Pass bundles through the app store's in-app purchase system (Google Play / Apple App Store). Purchases are processed by the store; we do not receive or store your card or payment details. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase completed so we can credit the corresponding passes to your balance. Score Passes are a digital credit with no cash value and are non-refundable except where required by law or store policy.
Live match documents are retained to keep shared links working. Your Score Passes balance and transaction records are retained so your balance stays accurate across reinstalls. You can request deletion of a specific match (with its share link) or of your device's pass record by contacting us.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No personal information is required to use it.
